THE British Forces Foundation' annual Christmas pilgrimage to the home of the SAS Regiment proved another triumph.

Charity Founder Jim Davidson OBE was joined by the rock band The Jones Gang who have made this their must-do show in their hectic calendar.

Jim entertained the troops and their partners for more than an hour before the band took to the stage.

As has become customary, the evening ended with the crowd on their feet, dancing the night away.

A spokesman for the Regiment said: "We are indebted to you for the wonderful support/show which you so willingly give to us annually – everyone was overjoyed to have you back in camp.

"You have been a good friend and supporter of the Regiment for a long time now. It is important that we have friends like you out there – people that put themselves out for nothing in return."
