NEW TRUSTEE - The British Forces Foundation is delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Lord Robertson of Port Ellen, who served as the tenth Secretary General of NATO from 1999 to 2003, to the Board of Trustees. The former Secretary of State for Defence was officially appointed in November. Click for full story
FIREWORKS - A MUSIC and fireworks night organised by the Defence Academy in Shriveham raised a tremendous amount of money for The British Forces Foundation and MacMillan Cancer Relief Appeal. Two thousand people, many who took along their picnics, thoroughly enjoyed the evening event. Click for full story
RUNDLE CUP DAY - THE British Forces Foundation/Highgrove polo team were in action at Tidworth Polo Club. Charity Director Mark Cann lined up alongside HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Miss Zara Phillips in an entertaining match against the Combined Services Polo Association. POLO PRINCES - PRINCE William and Prince Harry lined up alongside their father, HRH The Prince of Wales, in the charity day polo tournament at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in aid of The British Forces Foundation. CHARITY BALL - THE Dorchester Hotel in London's Park Lane was once again the venue for the ever popular British Forces Foundation ball. Guests enjoyed a night of quality dining and entertainment with the likes of Myleene Klass and British Forces Foundation chairman Jim Davidson OBE. Click for full story
PARK PARTY - RAF Digby in Lincolnshire was the venue for a spectacular Party in the Park in aid of The British Forces Foundation. It attracted thousands of people and raised thousands for the charity. There was some fantastic music and brilliant displays to entertain the crowd throughout the day. Click for full story
ARCTIC BOUND - BLIZZARDS and sub-zero temperatures were no match for the warm reception The British Forces Foundation received on its three date tour for troops in Norway. Jim Davidson OBE, Myleene Klass and Clive Cooper were on hot form for the Royal Marines and other armed forces personnel. Click for full story
LONDON MARATHON - THE British Forces Foundation's team of seven intrepid runners took the streets of the capital to compete in this year's London Marathon. All put in tremendous efforts and successfully completed the gruelling challenge with some impressive times. Click for full story
BOXING GALA - AN explosive international contest between the best of the British Army and Scotland's national amateur squad gripped those lucky enough to be ringside at the Army Training Regiment, Winchester. HUNTING ART PRIZES- FALKLANDS veteran Simon Weston made an appeal on behalf of The British Forces Foundation at a private view of the prestigious Hunting Art Prizes 2004 exhibition. The evening at the Royal College of Art raised a fantastic £18,000 for the charity. Click for full story
