CHRISTMAS CHEER - THERE was plenty of festive spirit when The British Forces Foundation held its Christmas drinks party with the charity's President, Baroness Thatcher, the guest of honour. Invited guests gathered at Portcullis House to enjoy a relaxed and informal evening. Click for full story
SAD LOSS - THE British Forces Foundation was saddened to learn of the death of the charity's Ambassador Roshan Sadri. Roshan was a tireless supporter of The BFF's work and its fundraising events. The charity will sorely miss this most generous and respected lady.
PRINCES' PRIDE - The Patron of The British Forces Foundation, HRH The Prince of Wales, along with Prince William and Prince Harry, played for the charity's polo team at the prestigious Rundle Cup Day. The royal trio, joined by BFF Director Mark Cann, ran out victors in front of thousands of spectators. Click for full story
POLO POUNDS - SPECTATORS were treated to a fantastic afternoon's polo at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Among the players at the charity tournament in aid of The British Forces Foundation were Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince Harry. Click for full story

PATRON'S APPEAL - THE British Forces Foundation has launched a new initiative, with the full support of HRH The Prince of Wales, which aims to raise £500,000. The money will be used to help stage four major shows in four theatres of operation around the world. Click for full story

INTO IRAQ - BRITISH troops serving in The Gulf were thanked for their tremendous efforts by The BFF when the charity journeyed into Iraq and Kuwait. During his two one-man shows Chairman Jim Davidson conveyed the support of the British public for the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces. Click for full story
GIBRALTAR ROCKS - Emma Bunton, the former Spice Girl who has carved herself a reputation as one of Britain's leading female solo artists, teamed up with The British Forces Foundation for a very special show in Gibraltar. FAMILIES' BOOST - CHAIRMAN of The British Forces Foundation Jim Davidson OBE flew to Germany in April to lift the spirits of families and loved ones of British troops fighting the war in Iraq. The visit to barracks in Osnabruck and Fallingbostel included a one-man show which brought the house down. Click for full story

BOXING GALA - THE thrills and spills of a fight night at the Army Training Regiment Winchester really packed a punch when it came to raising money for charity. Guests, including Jim Davidson and John Conteh, were knocked out by the quality of the action inside the New Gymnasium. Click for full story

ARBROATH WELCOME - ROYAL Marines returning from frontline duties in Afghanistan enjoyed a spectacular thank you show by the British Forces Foundation. Their headquarters in Scotland rocked to the sounds of Who drummer Kenny Jones and his band Big Face at the climax of a night to remember. Click for full story
