RT Hon Baroness Thatcher was the special guest at the home of British Forces Foundation Ambassador Roshan Sadri in November - to unveil her own portrait.

Lady Thatcher, accompanied by husband Denis, performed the ceremony in front of invited guests and BFF supporters.

She paid tribute to the work of the artist Richard Stone and personally thanked Roshan who purchased the picture for a substantial sum of money. All proceeds have gone to the charity.

Roshan spoke of her admiration for the former Prime Minister and her proud involvement with the work of the BFF.

The charity chairman Jim Davidson praised Roshan for her commitment to the cause and spoke on behalf of everyone concerned with the BFF when he offered his sincerest thanks. Also present were trustees Sir Rex Hunt and Laurie Mansfield.

The British Forces Foundation has 350 original lithographic, limited edition, prints of The Rt Hon Baroness Thatcher OM FRS, signed not only by Richard Stone, the artist, but also by Margaret Thatcher herself.
