HAVING A BALL - The British Forces Foundation July Ball proved a massive hit with celebrities and charity supporters at The Grosvenor House Hotel. POLO PRINCES - HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince Harry took to the polo field at the Sandhurst Royal Military Academy for a special charity tournament in aid of The British Forces Foundation. NEW TRUSTEE - Former Chief of the Defence Staff, General Lord Guthrie GCB LVO OBE, has joined the board of The British Forces Foundation trustees. A distinguished career in the British Army and Ministry of Defence, General Lord Guthrie took up the new challenge with the charity in July. Click for full story
BARONESS THATCHER - The former British Prime Minister unveiled her own portrait at London's Carlton Club with words of praise for the British Forces Foundation. Monies from the sale of the painting, and limited edition prints signed by Baroness Thatcher, will go into the charity's funds. Click for full story
STATUS QUO - The legends of British rock music headlined an outstanding British Forces Foundation show with Jim Davidson in Germany this month. The Bad Lippspringe event, sponsored by Direct Car Finance, was exclusively for British Forces serving in Germany and their families. Click for full story
KOSOVO BOOK LAUNCH - Fergus Greer's new book of the Kosovo campaign - a collection of stunning photographs - has gone on sale, with all proceeds destined for the British Forces Foundation.
